Well, it's my first official assignment..on my own! On behalf of the Ocean Awareness Student Competition, I'm here at the Texas Arts Educators Association's Conference of 2013.
Just a few tidbits before opening:
Already generated some interest with a couple of STEAM advocators!
They collected some promo materials and promise to return after set up.
The exhibit coordinator can't believe I've set up so quickly, "You're too relaxed!"
But I'm actually kinda nervous! I don't want to mess up the pitch!
Also, while it costs loads for booths to be provided with their own wifi connection, I am in great range for the free conference wifi! So far so good! I've tested a few pages and can play most of the videos with little buffer time.
I have plenty of sign in sheets and my contact info qr code at the ready.
The qr code which goes directly to the site, works splendidly!
I've already had another exhibitor try it out; she was really excited.
Some of these booths look really intricate! A few folks have been setting up since 830! Some vendors are having whole crates delivered. There are a number of fork lifts present. It's all a bit intimidating! But I"m still excited.
